A few days ago while Tom and I were out walking, we saw a truck-den drive by. We’ve seen these before. They’re like our den-on-wheels, but instead of following their truck around like ours, the den sits in the back of the truck. Tom also has a sort of little den on the back of his truck, but he stores a lot of our stuff in there.
Tom seemed pretty excited when he saw this particular truck-den. It had the word “Germany” written on the front. After we got home, Tom consulted the almighty Google, and I could tell he was really happy. The next day when we went out walking, we found the truck-den and the people living there.
One thing I’ve noticed about humans is that a lot of them talk differently. I’m glad we dogs don’t have that problem. I can talk to any dog in the world. Tom could sort of speak their language, but they spoke his a lot easier. They were very friendly, but they didn’t have any dogs for me to meet. After a while I got bored and tried to chase a squirrel. Tom kept pulling me back, and eventually decided we needed to go home.
We’ve met so many wonderful people (and dogs!) on our trip! I’m sure we’ll meet a lot more. I’ll be sure and write about some of them as we go on.
